The problems with digitally distributed movies.
As companies fight it out for your set top box dollar I can’t help but feel that there are stilly two big hurdles for digitally distributed video.
- Digitally distributed movies offer an inferior experience compared to the physical equivalent.
- Pirated movies give you the same (or better) experience than paid content.
Let me explain.

I was surprised when all of the replies were in support of the no-www option. Maybe my results are bias because my twitter sphere is full of mostly web people.
Apple v Google. A new paradigm in computing.
Just a couple years ago everything was Apple v Microsoft with fierce competition, slanging matches and advertising campaigns.
Lately it seems like every second tech news headline has something to do with the ongoing love hate relationship between Apple and Google.
I believe we are heading into a new paradigm of personal computing and that Apple v Google is the new Apple v Microsoft which was the new Apple v IBM.
Let me explain why.

After some DNS related teething issues I was pretty happy with my first blog post. Here is my second blog post. This week I take some time to have a look at jQuery.

Let’s be realistic. Internet Explorer is not very popular amongst web developers and other internet savvy users. However there is a new version on the block and it’s actually pretty good. That said, Microsoft has an uphill battle on its hands.
There are a few problems facing the newest version of IE and it’s relation to the versions that came before.
